To meet the high demands of our customers, only the best components from all over the world are used.
We source our sensors from the traditional German company OSRAM Opto Semiconductors GmbH & Co. OHG from Regensburg. The sensor technology used here (SFH2201 and SFH2703) supports you in blood data analysis.
For the blood data sensors, we use components from the USA that come from the world-renowned and largest US technology company, Texas Instruments Incorporated. Here, we use the TI129 sensor.
The world-famous Norwegian processor manufacturer Nordic Semiconductor Inc. ensures the high performance of your CARE health watch with its nRF52832 processor.
Taiwan is known, among other things, for TSMC, the largest semiconductor manufacturer in the world. An entire nation benefits from the microchip and processor expertise of this giant. The manufacturer of the 3-axis motion sensor in your CARE smartwatch is the renowned company Sensortek Technology Corp. from Taiwan. The motion sensor STK8321 is used for detecting sleep apnea as part of the extended sleep analysis.

Cutting-edge technology as a starting point
During the development of the CARE Control, Kardena benefited from numerous customer experiences with the CARE Pro 2, which served as the basis for the CARE Control. Experienced customers will quickly notice this when first using the watch, as our Control uses the same app as our CARE Pro 2.
Proven sensor quality from Germany
The sensors analyse blood flow in the uppermost millimetres of the wrist skin using up to 750 nanometer light wavelengths. Thanks to a 14 % larger spectral range compared to the SFH2703, which was installed in the predecessor model CARE Pro 1, as well as seven-fold Fresnel lenses, the new Care Control smartwatch achieves unprecedented precision.
Fully automatic monitoring of body temperature and activities!
Kardena CARE Control determines a reference value for body temperature fully automatically using the integrated Sensyling sensor and creates a daily progression chart. Alarm functions, which can be individually configured, alert you as soon as predefined threshold values are reached in order to react in time to elevated body temperature or elevated heart rate without apparent reason.
The proven 3-axis motion sensor technology from Sensortek-Technology Corp. records activities such as sleep, steps, and sports, enabling comprehensive health monitoring.

In the new Kardena® CARE Control, the sensors are doubly integrated compared to our CARE Pro 1. For you, this means double the precision. The watch now features six light sources and, as a unique selling point, 7 OSRAM Fresnel lenses for light focusing.
Incredible sharpness thanks to 129,600 instead of 57,600 pixels in the IPS display: our CARE Control guarantees, figuratively speaking, a razor-sharp image with the highest level of visibility - even in strong sunlight on the display.
Kardena® – CARE technology for a better life
Kardena® combines its artificial intelligence with the multiple pulse oximetry sensors from OSRAM and sensor technology from Maxim-Integrated. The results are, unlike conventional trackers, more precise blood pressure measurements as well as unique features – keyword: calibratable continuous blood pressure monitoring, measurement with artificial intelligence, blood oxygen control with low-level alarm for the identification of sleep apnea, HRV analysis incl. Lorenz diagrams or REM sleep phase analysis.

Please connect your watch or ring in the app using ‘Add device’.
2. Don't pair directly via Bluetooth
The connection should be set up in the app, not in your smartphone's Bluetooth settings first.
3. Keep Bluetooth switched on
Bluetooth must be switched on during setup and for syncing afterwards.
4. Allow permissions
Give the app the permissions it asks for, so that readings, notifications and connections work reliably.
